For drivers who demand the utmost from their car
Designed and tested specifically for track day enthusiasts and for drivers who demand the utmost performance from their cars, these kits offer superlative performance for both normal driving and demanding track day sessions.
Brembo kits consist of cross-drilled or slotted ventilated, one-piece or composite discs and aluminium calipers with 4, 6 or 8 pistons; a complete set of high performance pads; metal-braided hoses and high quality hardware.
Solutions and technologies born on the race track
Braking systems consisting of motorsports-derived components offering levels of technology and performance without par on the market today and embodying the purest expression of Brembo's state-of-the-art technology.
The kit consists of aluminium calipers with opposed pistons which, depending on the car model and in increasing order of performance, may be composite, monoblock or even billet monoblock components, combined with cross-drilled or slotted one-piece or composite oversized discs.
Brembo kits combine the best solutions available to offer the perfect solution for the individual characteristics of each model.
The heart of the kit consists of aluminium calipers. These are also available as monoblock parts machined from a single billet of cast aluminium, which ensure outstanding rigidity and minimised deformation. The discs supplied in the kit, which may either be floating or one-piece, depending on the specific car model, feature an exclusive venting system that improves cooling capacity and increases resistance to cracking caused by thermal shock by over 40%.
Cross-drilled and slotted finishes are designed and executed with meticulous precision. These holes or slots in the braking surface help dissipate heat and eliminate brake dust and gases. A set of high-performance brake pads with specific friction materials for each application, TÜV/DOT homologated metal-braided hoses, an adapter and high-quality fastener hardware complete the kit.
More braking torque and thermal capacity on the track
Using radial-mounted fixed calipers together with oversized discs gives the system greater braking torque and superior thermal capacity. The result is a braking action that is noticeably more immediate and decisive even in normal road usage, and is extraordinarily powerful and consistent under the repeated loads of track use.
Fixed calipers improve the durability and efficiency of the system: the opposed multiple pistons act on the pads with more precision, due to the smaller piston diameter and the reduced pressure exerted on each individual piston, while the greater overall surface area between the pads and pistons results in more uniform friction surface wear. The superlative stiffness of the calipers and the metal braided hoses reduce brake fluid absorption. The result is improved, more stable brake pedal pressure, making it possible to modulate braking force more precisely and enhancing pedal feel.
Featuring a hat in aluminium alloy, the oversized floating disc system reduces unsprung mass (for improved handling) and thermal stress. The mounting system is engineered to permit a greater degree of both radial and axial float.
This characteristic, together with the greater dimensions of the braking rotor surface, improves the dispersion of the heat generated by the repeated, intense thermal stress that the discs are subjected to, for consistent braking performance and pedal feel even after numerous laps on the track.
Eye-catching, unique looks
With a combination of painted calipers (available in red, black or silver) flaunting the Brembo logo, and slotted or cross-drilled discs, the Gran Turismo kit gives an unmistakably sporty, eye-catching look to the car, offering that extra special touch for drivers who want their vehicle to stand out from the crowd.
Catering for the more discerning driver is the GT-R line of kits.
These offer even more performance and consist of billet-monoblock calipers, slotted discs in diameters up to 405 mm and special high performance pads.
Performance and style: for those who demand the best for their car
Brembo's B-M braking systems are designed and tested for those who want the best for their car.
They offer high-level performance both in normal road use as well as for the demanding days on the track, with a unique style given by Brembo's exclusive geometries and design.
Brembo's B-M kits consist of composite and one-piece ventilated discs that can be either drilled or slotted, aluminum monobloc calipers with 4, 6 and 8 pistons; a complete set of high performance pads; metal-braided hoses and high quality hardware.
Unparalleled technology, performance and design
It's a braking system that is characterized by a technology, performance and design level that is unparalleled on the market. Brembo's B-M kits are designed to combine the best technical solutions and therefore to properly respond to the peculiarities of each vehicle.
The aluminum monobloc calipers are the kit's heart. They are machined from an aluminum piece that has been cast in Brembo's foundry. This ensures exceptional stiffness and deformation.
I The discs that are provided in the kit have a unique ventilation system that improves the cooling capacity and increases by over 40% the resistance to the cracking that is caused by thermal shock. Additionally, the discs may be floating or one-piece, depending on the car model.
An innovative 4D technology casting process
The brake calipers for the B-M systems are produced thanks to an innovative 4D technology casting process.
In this occasion it has been used for the first time to produce car calipers. This casting process makes use of a technology that has allowed Brembo to offer a design that is completely different compared to what is generally offered for this type of calipers.
With this technology, the caliper has technical features that are generally found only on racing calipers that are machined from metal block or forged.
All the calipers of the B-M braking systems are cast with internal fluid lines rather than with the more conventional external rigid pipe connections. The bleeding screw is invisible therefore it fits better within the overall design and this ensures greater safety and freedom of design.
The family of B-M calipers stands out for the higher degree of efficiency in terms of architecture and style. This thanks to the lack of the aesthetic limits that are typical for the calipers that are cast with traditional methods.
On the track with more braking torque and greater thermal capacity
The radial-mounted fixed calipers and the oversized discs give the brakes a greater breaking torque and thermal capacity. The result is a more immediate and decisive braking that can be noticed even during normal road usage but that is also incredibly powerful and consistent during the many consecutive days spent on the track.
The fixed calipers improve the system's durability and efficiency: in fact the use of several opposed pistons allows an enhanced distribution of the pads' action as well as a more uniform wear on the friction surfaces.
The caliper's great stiffness and the use of metal-braided hoses ensure the reduction of the brake fluid absorption. This provides a more prompt and stable value for the brake pedal's pressure thus improving the control and the pedal feeling.
Finally, owing to the aluminum alloy bell, the system with oversized floating disc reduces the unsprung weights (for an improved handling) and the thermal stress. The mounting system is engineered to permit a greater degree of both radial and axial float.
This feature adds to the larger braking surface and allows a better dissipation of the heat that is generated by the repeated, intense thermal stress that the discs have to withstand. This keeps the braking performance and pedal feel consistent even after many laps on the track.
A unique, eye-catching look
The B-M kits' painted calipers (available in: Red, Black, White, Yellow and Neon Yellow) that display Brembo's logo together with the slotted or drilled discs give an unmistakably sporty and eye-catching look to the car.
This wins once more who wants to enhance their vehicle's design and stand out from the crowd.
The monobloc caliper's design and geometries are unique and give an unrivaled aggressive and futuristic look to the sportiest cars. This new caliper reflects Brembo’s principles in developing new and innovative products that stand out for their elegant design.
The B-M calipers are manufactured in the same plant as the company’s racing brake systems and are the result of Brembo’s 40 years long experience in motor sports. All this is concentrated in a high performance street caliper with a distinctive look.
B-M4, B-M6, B-M8: to each their own
The B-M braking system family stands out for brake calipers' different designs and piston numbers (the B-M4 with 4 pistons, the B-M6 with 6 pistons up to the 8 opposed pistons for the B-M8). These calipers are in combination with discs of various dimensions, up to 420 mm x 40 mm.
The B-M6 braking systems have been developed to increase the overall performance during braking for all the most performing sports sedans.
